Biewer Lumber is seeking an Industrial Controls Technician to install, maintain, repair and improve industrial control systems at our Wisconsin operations. You will read blueprints, interpret specifications and perform preventive maintenance on manufacturing equipment to keep production running smoothly.

The role requires hands-on electrical and controls work, with experience in PLCs, HMIs, VFDs and Allen-Bradley systems. Safety training and teamwork are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Experience in heavy industrial environments and safety practices.
• Proficient computer skills; AutoCAD preferred.
• Strong Rockwell software knowledge for logic editing.
• Experience with PLCs, HMIs, VFDs and electrical systems.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, repair and modify industrial control systems.
• Interpret blueprints and manufacturer specifications.
• Complete preventive maintenance programs on control systems.
• Troubleshoot PLCs, VFDs, motors and control panels.
• Coordinate with vendors on electrical projects.
• Prepare maintenance and progress reports.
