Job summary

Richardson International Limited in New Hope, MN is hiring an Electrician for our Weekends shift at the pasta production facility. Salary is $36.00 per hour.

This role troubleshoots and maintains electrical and control systems on high‑speed production equipment, supporting extruders, dryers, conveyors, and packaging lines. Requires a 2‑year Electrical Technician degree or equivalent experience; ability to read wiring diagrams; OSHA 10; and experience with Allen‑Bradley PLCs, HMIs and VFDs.

Qualifications

• 2-year Electrical Technician degree or equivalent experience (apprenticeship, military training, or 3+ years hands-on electrical/controls experience)
• Willingness to obtain CPR certification
• Preferred experience in food manufacturing electrical and controls
• OSHA 10
• Experience reading wiring diagrams
• Strong electrical troubleshooting skills
• Read, write, and speak English to perform essential functions

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and maintain electrical and controls systems for production and high-speed packaging equipment
• Support extruders, dryers, conveying systems, cartoners, baggers, palletizers, utilities, HVAC, chillers, and compressed air systems
• Partner with Operations and Maintenance to resolve recurring issues and complete preventative maintenance
• Maintain PLC backups, schematics, and electrical documentation
• Modify and improve electrical and control systems in compliance with NEC standards
• Assist with capital projects and equipment installations

We are offering a salary of $36.00 per hour. Pay: $36.00/hour Shifts: 6a-6p / 6p-6a Weekends (Fri-Sun)

What You'll Do

• Troubleshoot and maintain electrical and controls systems for production and high-speed packaging equipment
• Support extruders, dryers, conveying systems, cartoners, baggers, palletizers, utilities, HVAC, chillers, and compressed air systems

What We're Looking For

• Ability to work weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed
• Ability to read, write, and speak English at a level necessary to perform the essential functions of the job
