Job summary

Latitude Corp is seeking an Automation Technician in Manning, SC to join our 100% employee‑owned team. You will set up and troubleshoot advanced automation systems, including lasers, robotic brake presses, welders, and CNC punches, while driving continuous improvements in quality and efficiency.

The role requires hands-on maintenance, documentation for training, and collaboration with engineering and leadership.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years of experience in manufacturing work environment utilizing automation.
• Ability to lift 40 lbs. safely and stand for long periods.
• Willingness to work full-time with overtime and on-call as needed.

Responsibilities

• Set up, troubleshoot, and operate highly automated equipment (Lasers, Robotic Brake Presses, Robotic Welders, CNC Punches).
• Document setup procedures to facilitate training and standardization.
• Troubleshoot equipment to reduce downtime and improve quality and efficiency.
• Perform preventative maintenance on equipment and assist with training production staff.
• Maintain MES system and keep work area clean and compliant with safety.
