Automation Technician (electrical OR mechanical systems)

Shift: 1st Shift (7:00 AM - 3:30 PM) with minimal overtime

Responsibilities:

1. Design, build, and troubleshoot electrical circuits to control test and process equipment with voltages ranging from 5 to 700 volts.
2. Collaborate with engineers on mechanical test systems involving engines, transmissions, and axles.
3. Work primarily on the shop floor (85% of time) in a team environment, requiring strong collaboration skills.

Required Experience:

• Proven experience in working with electrical circuits for test/process equipment.
• Knowledge of codes related to diesel engines and aftertreatment systems.
• Experience in assembling and investigating drivetrain components.

Desired Experience:

• At least 2 years of experience with off-road equipment.
• Understanding of drivetrain systems and ability to adapt and prioritize tasks.

Education:

A 2-year technical degree or equivalent experience is required.

Additional Information:

• Business casual dress code is mandatory.
• Metatarsal protection is needed from the first day.
• Successful candidates may drive a Deere-owned Gator after completing necessary training.
• Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
