Job summary

Tyson Foods is seeking a skilled technician for the 3rd shift to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain complex automated systems in our Prepared Foods plant. You will support electrical, electronic, mechanical, and fluid power systems, and assist with integrating new equipment.

Qualified candidates have at least 4 years in automation or industrial maintenance, strong SAP Maintenance knowledge, and good communication skills. Relocation is not offered; travel may be required 1–5 times per year.

Qualifications

• Education: High School or GED required.
• 4+ years of automation or industrial maintenance experience.
• Experience in repair and troubleshooting of electrical, electrical controls, PLCs and mechanical systems.
• Must be proficient or willing to become proficient in SAP Maintenance.
• Strong written and verbal communication with all team members.
• Ability to function effectively in a team environment and interact with all levels of management and operations personnel; critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Travel: 1-5 trips per year outside of assigned location.
• Nice to have: A.S. in Electronics Technology or related field or relevant military/trades training.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain automated systems and equipment.
• Provide technical support for electrical, electronic, mechanical, fluid power, and manufacturing systems.
• Assist with installation and modification of integrated systems.
• Support plant operations and guide team members in the supervisor's absence.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
