Job summary

Tyson Foods is hiring an Automation Technician for the United States. The role requires 2+ years of automation or industrial maintenance experience and proficiency in electrical controls and PLCs. You will troubleshoot and repair complex systems, assist with installation and modification of integrated systems, and support all operation phases.

The position emphasizes teamwork, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to travel 1–5 trips per year. Evening/weekend coverage may be required.

Qualifications

• Education: High School or GED required.
• 2+ years of automation and/or industrial maintenance experience; experience in repair and troubleshooting electrical, electrical controls, PLCs and mechanical systems required.
• Must have strong computer skills; proficient in SAP Maintenance or willing to become proficient.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with team members.

Responsibilities

• Perform high-level machine and systems troubleshooting and repair.
• Assist engineering and plant staff with specification, installation, and modification of integrated systems.
• Provide technical support for all phases of operation.
