Job summary

Traditional Medicinals in Rocky Mount, VA seeks an Automation Engineering Technician for the 3rd shift (11pm–7:30am) to operate, maintain and optimize automated systems in our manufacturing facility.

You will lead technical support, uphold safety standards, and drive continuous improvement to minimize downtime and improve process reliability. The role requires on-site presence with training travel to California.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical automation degree/cert a plus.
• 3–5 years of maintenance and automation experience.
• Experience operating and maintaining automation equipment.
• Knowledge of PLCs and automation controls is desirable.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.

Responsibilities

• Operate and manage automation equipment to maintain production levels and quality.
• Perform maintenance, scheduling, and repairs to prevent downtime.
• Maintain accurate equipment performance and maintenance records.
• Assist in installation and setup of new automation systems.
