Qualifications

• Possession of a valid Real ID is required.
• 2+ years of experience on automatic, conveyor, or production systems.
• Strong knowledge of analog/digital electronics, mechanics, pneumatics, hydraulics, and related fields.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical/mechanical drawings and schematics.
• Ability to pass drug test and military background check per federal requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support for automated packaging, tote conveyors, and dosing equipment.
• Perform preventive maintenance, installation, evaluation, repair, calibration and programming of PLCs.
• Troubleshoot equipment and restore to full operation.
• Evaluate repair vs replacement decisions based on cost, age, and reliability.
• Assess test equipment needs and modify interconnections to improve system reliability.
• Coordinate preventive maintenance and inspections within the program.
• Assist in writing maintenance procedures, PPE, LOTO, and contract specs.
• Advise supervisor on equipment modifications and problem solving.
• Assist in installing control systems and basic computer/printer maintenance.
