Compensation: $25-$38/hr, plus a $1/hr premium for night shifts.
Industry: Medical Device Manufacturing
Schedule: 2-2-3 rotation (6AM-6PM or 6PM-6AM), providing three or four days off every week.
Core Responsibilities:
- Maintain, repair, and troubleshoot complex automated manufacturing machinery and control systems.
- Identify and resolve faults within PLCs, HMIs, robotics, sensors, motion control, and pneumatic/electrical systems.
- Execute preventive and corrective maintenance tasks to ensure peak equipment availability and reduce operational downtime.
- Assist in the deployment, commissioning, qualification, and validation of updated or new automated systems.
- Adjust automation system parameters, configurations, and programming as authorized.
- Analyze technical documentation, wiring diagrams, and electrical schematics to support maintenance activities.
- Collaborate with Quality, Operations, Maintenance, and Engineering teams to boost the reliability and performance of production equipment.
- Contribute to operator training, continuous improvement initiatives, and root-cause analysis efforts.
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of professional experience working with industrial manufacturing equipment, controls, or automation.
- Demonstrated proficiency in mechanical and electrical troubleshooting.
- Hands-on experience with HMI and PLC systems, specifically those from Rockwell/Allen-Bradley.
- Background in servicing, programming, and diagnosing Epson robotic systems.
- Competency in interpreting technical manuals and electrical blueprints.
- An Associate degree or technical certification in Mechatronics, Automation, Industrial Maintenance, Electronics, or Electrical Engineering Technology is preferred.
- Prior experience working within pharmaceutical, medical device, or other highly regulated manufacturing sectors is a plus.
