Job summary

Intellectt Inc. is seeking an Automation Technician for on-site work in Buffalo Grove, IL. The role covers troubleshooting, maintaining, and optimizing automated assembly systems, including robots, conveyors, PLCs, HMIs, sensors, and vision systems.

Responsibilities include supporting installation, commissioning, and line changes; reading schematics; and contributing to Lean and Kaizen initiatives. 2–5 years of automation experience preferred; 12-month contract.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of experience in automation, robotics, controls, or a related field.
• Hands-on experience with PLCs, HMIs, robots, conveyors, sensors, vision systems.
• Strong electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic troubleshooting skills.
• Robot programming and troubleshooting experience.

• Diagnose and resolve problems with robots, conveyors, sensors, vision systems, and pneumatic components
• Program and troubleshoot industrial robots such as Fanuc, Sepro, Yushin, or Wittmann.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on automation equipment.
• Modify PLC/HMI programs and troubleshoot I/O and communication issues.
• Read and interpret electrical and mechanical schematics.
• Support equipment installation, commissioning, and production line changes.
• Maintain automation documentation and equipment records.
• Support Lean and Kaizen and continuous improvement initiatives.

Schedule: 1 st Shift 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM | 2nd Shift 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM

Duration: 12 Months contract

Job Summary

Pay Scale

Anticipated hourly pay range: specific range such as ($35/hr to $37/hr)
