Job summary

Amsted Automotive Powder Metal Division in Geneva, IL is seeking a 2nd shift Automation Technician to set up, program, troubleshoot and repair automation equipment. Shift hours 2:30 pm to 11:00 pm.

You will work from prints and process specifications, lead robotics and CNC set-ups, monitor runs, and provide technical guidance while training others. A minimum of 3 years in manufacturing automation, robotics and CNC is required; forklift and blueprint skills are a plus, with a strong emphasis on

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years experience in manufacturing automation applications, robotic technology and CNC equipment.
• Strong ability to read blueprints and specifications.
• Forklift operation knowledge is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Set up robotics and automation equipment to meet process specifications and document requirements.
• Troubleshoot and repair automation equipment and monitor production runs for quality and efficiency.
• Provide technical guidance, assist in training and support safety and continuous improvement initiatives.
