Job summary
Electrolit Manufacturing USA Inc. in Waco, TX seeks an Automation Maintenance Technician to maintain, troubleshoot, and optimize PLC-controlled equipment and automated material-handling systems.
You will work closely with the Embedded Automation Engineer to ensure uptime and efficiency across conveyors, robots, and LGV fleets. The role requires strong electrical, automation, and mechanical maintenance skills, with an emphasis on reliability, safety, and continuous improvement in a 24/7 beverage
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in automation, intralogistics, manufacturing, or industrial equipment environments.
- Experience diagnosing and repairing automation equipment and electrical systems.
- Ability to read electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, hydraulic diagrams, and equipment documentation.
- Strong troubleshooting, diagnostic, and problem-solving skills.
- Working knowledge of lockout/tagout and safety practices.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair automation equipment and PLC controls.
- Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on automated systems.
- Respond to breakdowns and minimize downtime with root-cause analysis.
- Maintain LGV-related mechanical, electrical, and control systems.
- Support installations, upgrades, and validation activities.
