Job summary

GDH is seeking a Software Systems Engineer to design, implement, and maintain automation and orchestration platforms that enhance IT infrastructure and service delivery. The role requires collaboration across development, operations, and security teams to create scalable, reliable, and secure automation solutions.

The team builds systems from the ground up, resolves complex operational challenges, and supports infrastructure across environments.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years in software systems engineering, infra, DevOps, or platform operations.
• Hands-on with automation platforms at scale.
• Experience integrating CI/CD workflows and IaC pipelines.
• Proficient scripting: Python, PowerShell, Bash.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and administer automation platforms (Terraform, Ansible, Vault, Packer).
• Collaborate across teams to ensure secure automation practices.
• Develop standards, docs, and lifecycle processes for automation platforms.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines and GitOps workflows.
• Provide training and guidance on automation technologies.
• Monitor performance, troubleshoot, and improve platform reliability.
• Support VMware and Kubernetes environments and on-call rotation.
