Job summary

GCS Recruitment is seeking an Automation Engineer to help build scalable automation and intelligent systems across modern operations. The role blends software, hardware, and automation to solve real-world challenges, requiring collaboration with robotics, embedded, and industrial teams.

The ideal candidate has a degree in engineering or CS and experience in large-scale tech environments, preferably with Google exposure.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
Experience working at Google.
Experience in automation, robotics, embedded systems, or software development.
Experience with large-scale operational systems.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to collaborate across multidisciplinary teams.
Familiarity with robotics, embedded/distributed systems, industrial automation, IoT, or cloud-connected systems.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and improve automation and intelligent system solutions.
Collaborate with software, hardware, and cross-functional engineering teams to deliver scalable products.
Support the integration of software and hardware components.
Analyze system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement improvements.
Participate in the design, testing, and deployment of new technologies.
Work with operations and engineering teams to ensure reliable production performance.
Contribute to technical discussions, process improvements, and best practices.
Support project planning and execution from concept through deployment.
Mentor junior engineers and share technical knowledge with the team.
