Job summary

Paycom - ATS in the United States is seeking an RD&E Manager, Automation Systems to lead the design and development of mechanical and electromechanical automation products. You will guide engineering staff, coordinate design, testing, fabrication, and installation, and ensure compliance with customer specs and safety standards.

The role requires strong CAD skills, experience with SolidWorks, and familiarity with CRM/Salesforce, with travel to customer sites and trade shows as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field.
• 7+ years of experience in analysis and design of mechanical systems.
• Experience managing a technical team preferred.
• Proficiency with CAD software and CRM/Salesforce preferred.

Responsibilities

• Directly supervise engineering staff and field service technicians.
• Plan, design and coordinate automation systems and products.
• Ensure designs meet customer specifications and cost targets.
• Manage budget planning and tracking; report on performance.
