Job summary

Top Prospect Group, Milford CT, seeks an Automation Engineering Manager to lead the design and deployment of mechanical and electromechanical automation systems on site. You will direct engineering and field service personnel, guide projects from concept through installation, and optimize performance across customers.

Responsibilities include supervising teams, coordinating design proposals, and supporting sales with technical insights.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field.
Seven years of related experience in analysis and design of mechanical systems.
Experience managing a technical or engineering team preferred.

Responsibilities

Supervise engineering professionals and field service technicians.
Plan, direct and review design, fabrication, installation, and optimization of automation systems.
Perform applications engineering and technical sales functions with customers.
Ensure systems meet designs, specifications, quality and cost parameters.
Travel for trade shows, customer visits and other activities as needed.
