Job summary

Paycom - ATS is seeking a skilled Mechanical Engineer to design, develop, and implement advanced mechanical systems in a factory setting. You will contribute to new equipment development, lean improvements, and process design through hands-on work from concept to deployment on the production floor.

You’ll use 3D CAD tools to create production-ready parts, collaborate with production teams and suppliers, and drive continuous improvement to boost speed, accuracy, and reliability in a fast-paced,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in mechanical design or manufacturing roles.
• Strong problem-solving and hands-on shop floor experience.
• Experience with 3D CAD and manufacturing processes.
• Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-moving environment.

Responsibilities

• Design parts and assemblies using 3D CAD for production-ready applications.
• Review drawings for tolerances, materials, and costs; ensure buildability.
• Collaborate with production teams and suppliers to implement improvements.
• Lead multiple projects, tracking schedules and budgets.
• Support testing, R&D, and new equipment development on the factory floor.
