Job summary

Cencora's Whitestown facility is seeking an Automation Support Specialist II-2 to maintain and optimize Materials Handling Equipment (MHE) and automated picking systems. You will diagnose electrical and mechanical issues, read CAD layouts and IPB diagrams, and support system upgrades under PLC/HMI control.

The role requires two years of related experience and a strong electrical background. The shift is overnight Sunday through Thursday, with overtime as needed to meet production goals.

Qualifications

• Two years related experience in maintenance or automation roles.
• Strong electrical background and ability to read CAD layouts and IPB diagrams.
• Experience diagnosing electrical/control issues up to 600V and with PLC/HMI systems.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute preventive maintenance plans for facility equipment and systems.
• Diagnose and repair Materials Handling Equipment and Automated Picking Systems.
• Oversee maintenance, modifications, and upgrades of MHE/APS controls.
• Assess efficiency and specify modifications to improve performance.
• Perform routine PM tasks to maintain warehouse productivity.
• Maintain CMMS/EAM records for repairs and service history.
• Manage spare parts inventory and sourcing as needed.
• Be willing to work extended hours to meet productivity goals.
• Perform related duties as assigned.
