Job summary

Amada is seeking a field service technician in Michigan to install and service equipment at customer sites. You will troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, and control systems, following drawings and blueprints, and report daily on status and weekly on expenses.

Candidates should be able to travel within assigned territories, lift up to 50 lbs, and communicate in English. Bilingual Spanish is a plus but not required.

Qualifications

4-year Electronics degree or 2-year degree with related work experience preferred.
Ability to analyze and repair mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, optical and electrical systems.
Ability to read and interpret mechanical and electrical drawings.

Responsibilities

Proficient in trouble shooting mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, control systems and networks.
Install equipment following layout drawings and blue prints.
Complete daily service reports and weekly expense reports.
