Automation Support Engineer - US, North Carolina - 6 Months ContractOur client, a global pharmaceutical manufacturing organization are looking for a talentedDeltaV MES Automation Engineer to join their expanding team. With continued organizational growth and considerable investment across their portfolio and capital programs this is an extremely exciting opportunity to contribute towards their brand-new manufacturing facility on the East Coast of the United States.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities for this role include, but are not limited to:- Support the design and implementation of theEmerson DeltaV MES (Syncade)solution
- Provide technical input on system requirements, lifecycle documentation, and MES modules such as: Document Management (DCA), Workflow Execution (WFX), Electronic Batch Records (EBR), Order & Material Management (OM/MM), Quality Review Manager (QRM) and Weigh & Dispense,
- Collaborate across project workstreams (Automation, CSV, CQV, Engineering, QA, etc.)
- Translate system requirements into test protocols and execute system testing, including recipe development and UAT
- Participate in cross-functional status meetings and provide ongoing technical support
Requirements:
- Strong experience withEmerson DeltaV MES (Syncade)
- Proficient in debugging MES configurations and migrating components between environments
- Strong working knowledge ofMicrosoft SQL ServerandWindows Event Viewer
- Familiarity with FDA-regulated environments:cGMP,GAMP5,S88,ISA 95, and21 CFR Part 11
- Experience withVB Script,XML/XSLT/XPATH, orSQL/TSQLis a plus
- Exposure toKneat Gx,TrackWise,DeltaV DCS,AVEVA PI, orInfoBatchis advantageous
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate in a cross-functional team setting
