PerkinElmer is seeking an Automation Support Analyst to join the Regeneron site in Rensselaer, NY. You will build and maintain relationships with Lab System Owners, IT teams and management while supporting daily operations and compliance in a fast-paced scientific environment.

The role requires strong communication, problem solving, and hands-on experience with Windows technologies, lab equipment, and software assets.

Competenze

• Associate degree in Computer Science or Life Science with 2+ years of relevant technical experience including Windows technologies, manufacturing systems, networking and technical writing.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Life Science is preferred.
• Experience with scientific instrumentation is a plus.
• Lab environment experience is desirable.

Job Description

Job Responsibilities:

• Build and maintain a working relationship with Lab System Owners, IT Teams, and Management.
• Update the Regulatory Asset Management systems inventory of lab equipment, PC's, software, and any other information pertinent to the environment.
• Maintain daily assigned project related communications with team.
• Staying compliant by following Standard Operating Procedures, Job Aids, and Work Instructions.
• Function as technical SME.
• First Line User Support.
• User account setup/Password Resets
• Non-change control break fix.
• Execution of Change Controls.
• Like-for-like replacements.
• Completing Preventative Maintenance Work within deadline. Biannual and Annual Reviews.
• Execution of Change Controls.
• On-Call Support rotation schedule
• PER requests/ SOP Field Testing and SLC Review.
• Assist with Investigations.
• Professionalism, excellent listening skills, superior analytical skills, great verbal and written communication and documentation skills are a must.
• Ability to manage one’s time with minimal supervision to achieve objectives.

Basic Qualifications:

• Associate degree in Computer Science or Life Science AND 2+ years of relevant technical experience including (but not limited to); Windows technologies, manufacturing systems, networking, technical writing

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Life Science
• 2 years of experience in lab environment is a plus
• Experience with scientific instrumentation

Other Requirements:

• Must be able to remains in a stationary position more than 25% of the time
• The person in this position needs to occasionally move inside and outside labs
• Frequently operate on instruments, objects, tools or controls, which will require regularly bending, squatting, stretching and reaching in order to perform in a service function.
• Regularly move or lift up to 25 pounds and occasionally move or lift up to 100 pounds
• Specific vision abilities required by this position include without limitation, the ability to observe details at close range (within a few feet of the instrument), distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus in order to perform the essential service functions of this position.
• Occasionally operates a computer and other office machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine, and computer printer

The annualcompensation range for this full-time position is $62,000 to $93,000. The final base pay offered to the successful candidate will be determined by factors including internal equity, work location, as well as individual qualifications, such as job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
