Qualifications

• Associate degree in Computer Science or Life Science with 2+ years of tech experience (Windows, networks, manufacturing systems, technical writing).
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Life Science; 2 years in lab environment and experience with scientific instrumentation is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain relationships with Lab System Owners, IT Teams, and Management.
• Update asset inventory for lab equipment, PCs, software, and related information.
• Maintain daily project communications with the team.
• Follow SOPs, Job Aids, and Work Instructions to stay compliant.
• Act as technical SME and provide first line user support.
• Set up user accounts and perform password resets; support change controls.
• Complete preventative maintenance and routine reviews.
• Participate in on-call rotation and support field testing.
• Assist investigations with professionalism and documentation.

Job Description

Job Responsibilities

• Build and maintain a working relationship with Lab System Owners, IT Teams, and Management.
• Update the Regulatory Asset Management systems inventory of lab equipment, PC’s, software, and any other information pertinent to the environment.
• Maintain daily assigned project related communications with team.
• Staying compliant by following Standard Operating Procedures, Job Aids, and Work Instructions.
• Function as technical SME.
• First Line User Support.
• User account setup/Password Resets Non-change control break fix.
• Execution of Change Controls.
• Like-for-like replacements.
• Completing Preventative Maintenance Work within deadline.
• Biannual and Annual Reviews.
• Execution of Change Controls.
• On-Call Support rotation schedule PER requests/ SOP Field Testing and SLC Review.
• Assist with Investigations.
• Professionalism, excellent listening skills, superior analytical skills, great verbal and written communication and documentation skills are a must.
• Ability to manage one’s time with minimal supervision to achieve objectives.

Basic Qualifications

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Life Science 2 years of experience in lab environment is a plus Experience with scientific instrumentation

Other Requirements

• Must be able to remains in a stationary position more than 25% of the time
• The person in this position needs to occasionally move inside and outside labs Frequently operate on instruments, objects, tools or controls, which will require regularly bending, squatting, stretching and reaching in order to perform in a service function.
• Regularly move or lift up to 25 pounds and occasionally move or lift up to 100 pounds
• Specific vision abilities required by this position include without limitation, the ability to observe details at close range (within a few feet of the instrument), distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus in order to perform the essential service functions of this position.
• Occasionally operates a computer and other office machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine, and computer printer

The annual compensation range for this full-time position is $62,000 to $93,000. The final base pay offered to the successful candidate will be determined by factors including internal equity, work location, as well as individual qualifications, such as job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
