Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in Manufacturing Operations.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related technical field or equivalent experience.
• Demonstrate excellent analytical, communication and interpersonal skills to solve problems and build relationships.
• Previous experience as Project Lead coordinating resources, timelines, and rapid escalation.
• Ability to manage multiple issues in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong technical capability with industrial electrical systems, automation, and controls.
• Strong knowledge of Automotive Assembly applications and operations.
• Proven ability to manage multiple complex projects with autonomy and accountability.
• Willingness to travel for supplier support.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate supplier activities and resolve roadblocks to keep VAA projects on track.
• Lead resolution strategies between GM and integrators.
• Verify CPIS initiatives, implementation status, and readiness.
• Analyze engineering budget trade-offs including manual vs SMART automation.
• Support Quality Readiness Reviews and launch readiness updates.
• Provide leadership updates on supplier launch status and open issues.
• Drive continuous improvement via Problem Resolution Tracking System remediation.
• Handle supplier change requests and decision notices.
