Job summary

Grifols, S.A in California is seeking a Supervisor of Automation to lead maintenance for plant operations. You will oversee predictive, preventative and corrective activities, ensuring reliable equipment and safe processes.

Responsibilities include mentoring maintenance electricians, analyzing costs, driving root cause analyses, supporting ISO14001, and coordinating vendor relations for parts and service contracts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Automation engineering.
• 2+ years of technical supervision in manufacturing.
• Experience in medical manufacturing (cGMP) is a plus.
• Regulatory compliance with cGMP/OSHA/FDA/EPA required.

Responsibilities

• Lead maintenance activities to ensure safe, reliable plant operations.
• Drive predictive, preventative and corrective maintenance efforts.
• Coach, mentor and motivate staff of maintenance electricians.
• Read/write capabilities with PLCs and HMIs; support automation projects.
• Analyze maintenance costs and prioritize improvements.
• Conduct root cause analyses and implement corrective actions.
• Support ISO14001 environmental management and vendor negotiations.
