Job summary

Ford Motor Company is seeking a technically skilled professional to enhance automated manufacturing capabilities in our Sterling Heights facility. You will review cycle times with Vis Plant monitoring software, troubleshoot PLCs and robotics, update backups, and program new installations for body tooling and conveyors.

Ideal candidates bring a Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering and 1+ year of electrical and networking experience, with hands-on PLC and automation skills.

Qualifications

Requires a Bachelor's degree and US work eligibility.
Experience with automated manufacturing systems beneficial.
Solid troubleshooting of PLCs and robotics required.

Responsibilities

Review cycle times using Vis Plant monitoring software.
Troubleshoot PLCs, robots, and automation issues.
Update program backups for automation.
Program new installations of body tooling and conveyors.
Reprogram automation for engineering changes.
Coordinate automation campaigns and support controls engineers.
Assist with weekend production coverage as needed.
