Job summary

Fastems is seeking a Sales Manager to drive revenue in the Northeast U.S. You will implement the regional sales strategy, develop new business, and grow existing accounts. This role supports a national sales team and collaborates with Inside Sales.

Travel around 50% is expected to execute objectives and maximize profitability. The successful candidate will combine deep technical knowledge of metal-cutting processes with strong prospecting, negotiation, and relationship-building skills to advance

Qualifications

5+ years in a demanding machine tool, solution, or system sales business.
Strong understanding of metal-cutting processes and shop floor dynamics.
Technical aptitude to grasp scheduling, automation, and program management in manufacturing.

Responsibilities

Create and implement direct and partner sales strategies; forecast and report in CRM.
Maintain consistent communication with customers and prospects; report market needs to management.
Meet monthly, trimester, and annual sales targets and build long-term relationships.
Keep current with supply and demand, trends, and competitors to adjust pricing and mix.
Regularly meet with customers, partners, and prospects to understand evolving needs and position Fastems' offerings.
Expand customer understanding and adoption of Fastems’ capabilities.
