RitterTech / RSA, part of MCE, is seeking a Technical Sales Engineer to drive automation product growth in Northern and Central Illinois and Indiana. Based in Bolingbrook or St.

Charles, IL, you will manage 50–60 accounts, build OEM partnerships, and work closely with regional sales to deliver high-value technical solutions. You will bring a deep automation background and excellent communication to specify products into designs, support cost estimates with engineering, and lead customer-focused

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on background in automation, electro-mechanical systems, or industrial controls.
• Ability to understand customer applications and specify products into designs.
• Significant expertise with PLCs, motion controllers, VFDs, servo motors, and actuators.
• 1–3 years of technical sales or customer-facing experience.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; strong time management and multitasking skills.

Responsibilities

• Own the growth and performance of automation products in your territory.
• Build OEM relationships to specify products into machine designs.
• Drive growth through owned accounts and collaboration with the local sales team across IL and IN.
• Develop and execute a regional growth plan for automation products.
• Support sales calls with technical expertise and market knowledge.
