• Strong organizational skills.
• Willingness to enter the apprenticeship program as openings develop.
• Able to use basic tools (screw drivers, allen wrenches, sockets, etc.).
• Ability to push/pull loads as part of a team.
• Able to work independently and with others.
• Dependable and motivated.
• Ability to safely operate a forklift in high traffic areas.
• Able to climb ladders safely and work overhead or in awkward positions.
• Able to lift 50 pounds; 20 pounds over shoulder height.
• Able to stand/walk for long periods.
• Adequate hearing to recognize warnings and alarms on forklifts.
• Clear verbal communication to contact coworkers via radio/paging.
• Flexibility to stay late or come in early as needed.

Aufgaben

• Set up automated equipment after mold changes.
• Lead automation set up team as the first layer of leadership.
• Assist with training of new employees on automation setup.
• Remove, install and set up automation equipment for mold changes.
• Check equipment for proper operation before production startup.
• Maintain and service tape machines, banding equipment, chutes, and covers.
• Ensure cleanliness and safety of equipment storage areas and tools.
• Participate in daily department operations and projects.
• Comply with safety, environmental and health requirements.
• Inspect automation equipment daily for part containment and improve as needed.
• Assist with preventive maintenance tasks.
