Job summary

Amcor Flexibles, LLC in Evansville, IN seeks a dependable technician to support automation equipment during mold changes. You will install, set up, and inspect equipment prior to production starts, keep machines clean, and assist with daily operations while following safety and environmental standards.

Responsibilities include maintaining tape and banding equipment, chutes and covers, and assisting with preventive maintenance tasks to keep the line running smoothly.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Must be able to use basic tools and operate safely.
• Willingness to enter an apprenticeship as openings develop.
• Ability to push/pull loads and work in teams.
• Able to work independently and with others.
• Must be dependable and motivated.
• Safe forklift operation in busy areas.

Responsibilities

• Remove, install, and set up automation equipment for mold changes.
• Check equipment for proper operation prior to production startup.
• Clean equipment prior to mold changes.
• Maintain tape machines and banding equipment for molding.
• Maintain chutes and tie bar covers.
• Maintain cleanliness of equipment storage areas and tools.
• Assist with daily department operation/projects as assigned.
• Maintain and enforce safety and environmental requirements.
• Inspect automation equipment daily for part containment and improve as needed.
• Assist with preventive maintenance tasks.
