We are seeking a passionate problem-solver and relationship builder to join us as an Automation Sales Manager based in Solon, OH. This role involves leading our industrial automation solutions, managing relationships with suppliers like Rockwell, supporting sales and customer engagement, and leading technical teams to ensure sales effectiveness and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the APR Industrial Automation technical offerings and manage relationships with suppliers.
  • Support sales and service teams with technical resources and customer engagements.
  • Hire, train, and develop technical specialists to maximize sales effectiveness.
  • Collaborate with Industrial Sales Managers to enhance product and technical knowledge through training programs.
  • Meet with key clients, assist in maintaining relationships, and support deal closures.
  • Deliver sales presentations, coordinate customer training, and promote the company at trade events.
  • Ensure seamless communication between sales, technical, and other departments.
  • Conduct performance reviews and provide feedback to team members.
  • Track sales performance, analyze market data, and develop strategic initiatives.
  • Educate sales personnel and customers about product offerings and market trends.
Qualifications
  • High School diploma or GED; Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years of industry experience and 3 years in sales.
Skills & Abilities
  • Action-oriented, customer-focused, results-driven.
  • Strong presentation, organizational, and conflict management skills.
  • Ability to develop teams and adapt to organizational changes.
Working Conditions
