Job summary

Siemens Digital Industries Automation offers a 12-week summer internship focused on B2B sales, with placement across DI Automation hubs in Alpharetta, GA; Elk Grove Village, IL; Harleysville, PA; and Lebanon, OH. The program develops go-to-market skills, customer-facing presentations, and understanding of automation solutions.

You will gain hands-on experience in sales processes, CRM use, and relationship building, preparing you for potential full-time roles after graduation while supporting

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s in Industrial Distribution, Industrial/Industrial Systems Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Engineering Technology, or related disciplines
• Available to work 40 hours per week, May 17 – August 6
• Must be willing and able to relocate to any of our DI Automation hubs for the summer
• Work Authorization: legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship

Responsibilities

• Shadow high-performance sales teams and build relationships with partners
• Translate technical concepts into clear, compelling value-driven proposals
• Support sales activities and track opportunities using CRMs and sales enablement tools
• Research customers and industries and document needs and buying behaviors
• Identify opportunities to streamline, automate, and optimize sales processes with new technologies and AI solutions
