Job summary

Festo Corporation in Utah is seeking a Sales Engineer to identify and develop prospects, sell and service existing accounts within a defined territory. This role provides technical expertise and support throughout the sales process to ensure customer satisfaction and increase market share for Festo Pneumatic and Control Systems products.

Qualifications

• Experience in engineering or outside/inside sales environment, especially with pneumatics.
• Excellent oral and written communication with technical presentation skills.
• Self-motivated, organized and able to work independently in a remote role.
• Proficiency in MS Office and fluent in English.

Responsibilities

• Identify and target potential customers, service and maintain accounts, and expand market share.
• Establish professional relationships with customer personnel to secure orders.
• Provide technical expertise and support, including product demonstrations.
• Develop customized proposals and solutions with the sales team.
• Conduct sales presentations and follow up on quotations submitted.
• Prepare technical documentation such as specifications and installation guides.
• Analyze customer requirements and recommend solutions based on capabilities.
• Travel within the territory to visit facilities and troubleshoot issues.
• Provide sales forecasts and reports on territory performance to management.
• Participate in trade shows to prospect leads and network with clients.
• Collaborate with product development and engineering to relay feedback.
• Ensure resolution of technical issues and service challenges with distributors.
