Job summary

APEX INDUSTRIAL AUTOMATION LLC, located in Bensenville, Illinois, is seeking an individual to support customers and outside sales teams in selecting and implementing automation products. The ideal candidate will collaborate with vendors and sales teams, taking ownership of the sales cycle and providing essential support to key accounts.

A degree or certification in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering is required, along with experience in automation sales and VFD programming. Strong communication skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office are a must.

Qualifications

• Degree or certification in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent.
• Automation Sales Experience preferred.
• Experience with VFDs preferred.
• Experience programming/troubleshooting VFDs preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office products.
• Ability to work independently and within a team.

Responsibilities

• Support customers and outside sales team in automation product selection.
• Collaborate with vendors and internal sales teams.
• Own the sales cycle from quote to implementation with the engineering team.
• Provide VFD start-up support.
• Collaborate with Account Managers and key accounts.
• Stay current with primary vendor’s new products.
