Job summary

JLL seeks an RME Operator to join our operations team in Jacksonville. You will maintain and repair automated packaging and distribution systems, combining electrical, mechanical, and automation skills to keep high‑performance manufacturing equipment running smoothly. Training and mentorship will be provided in a fast-paced environment.

You will perform preventative maintenance, troubleshoot robotics, and collaborate with peers to improve equipment reliability and efficiency on a daily basis.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 1+ years of PC software experience including Word, Excel, Outlook
• Vocational/technical training or an associate degree or above, OR 1+ years of RME experience
• Experience troubleshooting and repairing operational items
• Knowledge of mathematics and measurement reading/interpretation
• Ability to work flexible schedules including weekends, nights, holidays
• Eligible to enroll in a 9-week training program at designated providers
• Schedule flexibility and potential shift changes based on business needs

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair automated packaging and distribution equipment while upholding safety regulations
• Perform preventative and predictive maintenance on conveyance equipment
• Troubleshoot robotics and work cells to maintain equipment availability
• Diagnose electrical and mechanical problems in material handling equipment
• Maintain motors, sensors, relays, and related components
• Collaborate with journey workers and coordinate with upstream/downstream teams
• Complete tasks using technical documents and safety regulations
• Participate in continuous improvement to boost reliability and efficiency
• Stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 49 pounds as needed
