Job summary

Torrey Holistics is seeking an Automation Maintenance Specialist to maintain and optimize CNC mills, welding cells, and automated systems. You will troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues to keep production moving and improve overall OEE.

Documentation of actions, parts, and follow-ups is required, with a focus on teamwork and reliability. The role involves standing on the shop floor, lifting up to 50 pounds, and working 1st or 2nd shift as needed.

Qualifications

• Proven experience diagnosing and fixing CNC HMC mills (Makino / Moriseiki) and welding robots.
• Experience with press assembly systems, compressors, and general facility equipment.
• Understanding of sensors, PLCs, hydraulics, pneumatics, and electrical circuits.

Responsibilities

• Own corrective, preventive, and daily maintenance for robotic welding cells and CNC/HMC equipment.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues and resolve faults quickly.
• Perform repairs or rebuilds as scheduled; document parts used and follow-up actions.
• Contribute to continuous improvement and reliability, collaborating with cross-functional teams.
