Job summary

Angstrom Automotive - USA is seeking an experienced robotics technician to install, program, and fine-tune machine-tending robots on CNC and welding cells in Michigan. You will monitor performance, troubleshoot I/O and controllers, calibrate arms and tooling, and support safety‑driven manufacturing practices.

Applicants should have 3+ years with FANUC, Nachi, Yaskawa, or OTC Daihen robots, CAD/CAM experience, and the ability to read blueprints. Overtime and weekend call-ins may be required.

Qualifications

3+ years hands-on experience with FANUC, OTC Daihen, Nachi, and Yaskawa robots.
Proficient in programming multi-axis material-handling and tending applications.
Strong troubleshooting across mechanical and electrical disciplines.
Experience with CAD/CAM; knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical control systems is a plus.
Read blueprints and interpret drawings.

Responsibilities

Install, program, and fine-tune robot tending on CNC and welding cells.
Monitor automation performance and optimize reliability and throughput.
Troubleshoot robots, controllers, I/O, and peripheral equipment.
Set up calibration of arms, tooling, and sensors.
Train teammates and ensure safety and housekeeping.
