Job summary

United Tech is seeking an Automation QA Engineer (Web/Admin) to reinforce our live-streaming platform team. You will craft and maintain UI, API, and end-to-end tests using Playwright and TypeScript, ensuring robust regression coverage.

You will collaborate with 4 development teams and drive test architecture improvements, aiming for reliable, scalable automation across UI and integration layers.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of web automation QA experience.
• Strong knowledge of JavaScript/TypeScript and Playwright.
• Experience with REST API testing and SQL validation.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and test automation architecture.
• Proficient in English communication and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and extend automated test suites (UI, API, E2E) using Playwright and TypeScript.
• Ensure and improve regression coverage for features and fixes.
• Maintain test automation framework stability and reliability through refactoring.
• Investigate failures across UI, API, data, and environment layers with developers.
• Participate in feature analysis to decide what to automate and at what level.
