Job summary

Subway Headquarters is seeking a Testing & Automation Engineer to design, develop, and maintain automated tests for UI, API, and backend services within the enterprise testing function.

You will work with Software Engineers, Product, and DevOps to embed quality early, expand test coverage through automation, and integrate tests into Azure DevOps CI/CD, while leveraging AI‑assisted tooling to improve reliability.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated tests for UI, API, and backend services.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps).
• Define test scenarios and acceptance criteria with Product teams.
• Identify defects and perform root‑cause analysis.
• Apply AI‑assisted testing tools across the lifecycle.
• Provide quality signals and release readiness evidence.
