Job summary

Capgemini in New York, NY seeks an experienced AI-enabled QA Test Automation Engineer to lead quality engineering for the Client Growth Retention portfolio.

You will design scalable test automation, drive API and integration testing, and partner with product, architecture, and development teams to ensure high-quality releases. The role emphasizes AI-assisted testing, modern automation tools, and a strong Agile/DevOps mindset.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems or related discipline.
• 7 years of experience in Software Quality Assurance, Test Automation, or Quality Engineering.
• Experience leading testing for complex enterprise applications.
• Strong expertise in test automation frameworks, API testing, data validation and system integration testing.
• Hands-on experience with automation tech including Selenium, Playwright, WebDriverIO, Java and Python.
• Experience with AI-assisted engineering platforms like Cursor, Claude, GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT Enterprise.
• Experience in Agile and DevOps delivery environments.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting and communication skills.
• Practical experience applying AI-enabled tools in software testing/engineering.

Responsibilities

• Lead quality planning, test strategy and validation for complex initiatives.
• Ensure comprehensive test coverage across functional, integration, regression and end-to-end testing.
• Define quality metrics, monitor release readiness and identify delivery risks.
• Champion continuous improvement and best practices in Quality Engineering.
• Design and maintain scalable test automation solutions for enterprise delivery.
• Drive automation adoption across API and integration testing layers.
• Leverage AI-powered tools to enhance test design, execution, and maintenance.
• Collaborate with product, business, architecture, and development teams throughout the delivery lifecycle.
• Support automated quality controls within CI/CD pipelines and governance processes.
