Job summary

Regions Bank is seeking a Test Automation Engineer to develop and maintain automated tests for web, mobile, and mainframe applications. You will qualify, design, and automate tests, and integrate them into CI/CD pipelines, collaborating with multiple teams to improve efficiency and reduce risk.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree and four years of experience in test automation or software development, with expertise in API testing and automation frameworks.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and four years of experience in test automation and/or software development.
• Experience with relational databases and data analysis.
• Experience building and maintaining test automation frameworks; planning and reporting automation activities.
• Experience using APIs (SOAP/REST) to exchange data between interfaces.
• Proficiency with Power BI and CI/CD tools, familiarity with Agile or Waterfall methods.

Responsibilities

• Develop automated tests to validate web, mobile, and mainframe applications.
• Qualify tests for automation and advocate atomic, autonomous tests.
• Automate functional and API tests to ensure production readiness.
• Integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines and test management tools.
• Collaborate with teams and stay informed on testing trends and innovations.
• Assist with automation tool/framework admin and upkeep.
• Participate in PI, sprint planning, and daily standups.
• Support automation needs for new projects and infrastructure upgrades.
• May perform manual testing when required.
• Maintain testing activity documentation and data for accuracy.
