Job summary

Akaasa Technologies in Tempe, AZ is seeking an Automation QA Analyst to validate software quality throughout the SDLC. Hybrid work allowed (2–3 days/week) with locals-only policy.

Job description

The QA Analyst is responsible for validating that software applications meet defined business, functional, and technical requirements before release. This role ensures that products are reliable, secure, and fit for purpose by executing structured testing, identifying defects, and enforcing quality standards throughout the software development lifecycle.

Tempe, AZ (hybrid 2 to 3 days per week) LOCALS ONLY (commute without relocation)

REQUIRED SKILLS

1. Minimum 4+ years of experience testing enterprise software solutions.
2. Experience using API testing tools (i.e., Postman, REST clients)
3. Strong nice-to-have experience with SQL and data validation.
4. Proven experience in the use of Microsoft Azure DevOps (or Atlassian Jira).
5. Must demonstrate ability to work independently and utilize critical thinking skills as required.
6. Good understanding of Agile methodology including experience with Scrum methods and processes.
7. Solid understanding of different testing methodologies (i.e., black-box, white-box, regression, smoke, UAT)
