Job summary

State of Arizona is seeking a Senior Quality Assurance Analyst IV for a contract role in Phoenix to drive functional testing, design comprehensive test cases, and expand automation suites for a web-based case management system.

The candidate will leverage Selenium WebDriver with C# or Java, perform SQL data validation, and collaborate across Agile teams to ensure high-quality software delivery. Hybrid work arrangement in Phoenix preferred.

Qualifications

• 7–10 years of functional testing experience.
• 3+ years of test automation experience.

Responsibilities

• Translate requirements into detailed test cases and scripts.
• Design and execute multiple testing types: functional, integration, UI, ADA/WCAG, and UAT.
• Develop and maintain Selenium WebDriver/POM automation scripts.
• Run smoke and regression tests and maintain regression suites.
• Perform backend data validation using SQL queries.
• Create and manage test plans, scenarios, and RTMs in Azure DevOps.
• Document defects with clear steps and reproduceability.
• Collaborate with developers and stakeholders to ensure coverage.
• Analyze automated test results and distinguish defects from script issues.
• Utilize AI-assisted testing to improve scenarios and automation.

Position Overview

The State of Arizona is seeking a Senior Quality Assurance Analyst IV with strong expertise in functional testing for a web-based judicial case management system. The role focuses on reviewing requirements, designing comprehensive test cases, executing test cycles, reporting defects, and ensuring overall application quality.

Experience with Selenium WebDriver and C#/Java-based automation is highly valuable. The selected candidate will also contribute to expanding an existing automation regression suite.

Key Responsibilities

Education / Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, or related field, OR
• 5 years of combined experience in software functional analysis/testing and test automation engineering.
