Job summary

Pieper Automation, a premier provider of turnkey automation and machine safety solutions, seeks a Project Manager (PM) to lead end-to-end machine safety projects for clients ranging from mid-size facilities to Fortune 100 companies. You will guide risk assessments, technical scoping, design, integration, and 3rd-party validation of safety mitigations.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in technical program/project management within industrial automation or safety projects.
• Strong ability to apply Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban) to hardware or regulatory projects.
• Deep knowledge of machine safety standards (OSHA, ANSI, ISO 12100, ISO 13849-1).
• Excellent client-facing communication and ability to build trust with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate, execute and deliver projects on time, on budget, and within scope.
• Develop project charters, plans, resource plans and related PM artifacts.
• Manage billing and cash flow for projects.
• Facilitate process improvements to increase field productivity.
• Lead cross-functional teams (Safety Engineers, Controls Engineers, Field Staff).
• Drive technical scoping, cost estimation, quotes, and alignment with capabilities.
• Direct 3rd-party safety validation and verification to meet standards before handover.
