ENGEL North America is seeking a Project Engineer II to drive concept development, analysis and quoting of automation systems for North American customers. You will manage quotes from concept to order, from basic automation to multi-million dollar production cells, and support the sales team with customer visits and presentations.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years’ relevant experience in machinery engineering.
• Experience with automation projects and sales support.
• Knowledge of 2D CAD, SAP, and MS Office.

Responsabilités

• Find cost effective concept for automated production cells.
• Analyze performance of automation equipment.
• Create quotations for Automation Systems and Robotic Systems.
• Design concepts for customer application.
• Research vendors, define supply scope and negotiate pricing.
• Create 2D layouts during the quotation phase for the sales team.
• Provide support for the entire sales team via phone, email or onsite visits.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge on automation products.
• Perform project kick-off meetings to transfer projects to operations.
