Job summary

Rockwell Automation is seeking a Project Engineer to execute project delivery from Detailed Engineering through customer-site commissioning. The role involves PLC programming, SCADA development, HMI design, alarm management, historian configuration and thorough documentation.

Travel to customer sites, including industrial plants, up to 70% of the time, is required. You will report to the Regional Business Manager Lifecycle Services, Andean Region, and collaborate with cross-functional teams on

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Electronics, Electrical, Mechatronics, System Engineering or technology related.
Strong English communication skills required, both spoken and written.
Experience in industrial automation or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

Execute Detailed Engineering, Design, Programming, Configuration, BOM, testing and customer-site commissioning.
Assist with PLC programming, SCADA development, HMI graphics, alarm management and historian configuration.
Develop I/O databases, instrument lists, loop definitions and cause-and-effect matrices.
Participate in FAT/SAT activities and provide defect corrections.
Produce I/O lists, test procedures, FAT/SAT reports and as-built documentation.
