Job summary
ManpowerGroup is seeking a Traveling Controls Engineer to support project delivery, installation, and commissioning. You will design PLC/HMI solutions, build templates, and develop control architectures while collaborating with customers and teams.
The role requires hands-on problem solving and clear stakeholder communication in a traveling capacity across local and domestic sites. The ideal candidate has 5+ years in industrial controls, a BS in engineering, and proficiency with Allen-Bradley
Qualifications
- 5+ years in Industrial Controls programming.
- B.S. in Mechatronics, Electrical or Computer Engineering or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years PLC programming including ladder logic, function block, and structured text.
- Proficiency with Allen-Bradley equipment and Ethernet/IP networking.
- Experience developing HMIs and test/training materials.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with project managers to assess projects and proposals.
- Read diagrams, understand objectives, and communicate with customers.
- Develop control system architecture and communication strategies.
- Create BOMs, IO lists, and control panel requirements.
- Lead small projects by building PLC/HMI templates and programs.
