Job summary

ATS Industrial Automation is seeking a Project Coordinator to work with customers, project management, and manufacturing teams to drive scoping, planning, and execution for automation projects. You will maintain schedules, coordinate design clarifications, and lead meetings to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery while maintaining quality standards.

Qualifications

• A post-secondary degree or diploma in Engineering, or alternately a trade certificate in a related field is preferred.
• A minimum of three years of experience in factory automation or manufacturing environment, including experience leading teams or projects is preferred.
• A working knowledge of automation principles including pneumatics, hydraulics, controls, and electrical devices is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Preparation and maintenance of schedules and resource forecasting.
• Coordinating, facilitating and driving project scoping, planning, execution, and close out.
• Coordinate the clarification of design and specification requirements and arrange for necessary changes.
• Coordinate and participate in the preparation of specifications, bid packages, evaluation of tenders, and purchasing recommendations.
• Organize and lead meetings to coordinate the requirements of internal and external customers.
• Review labor estimates, schedules, execution plans, inspection and test plans and project oversight plans.
