Job summary

Amphenol Communications Solutions (ACS) seeks a Process Engineer to lead assembly process development from concept to cost- and capacity-justified production. You will implement automated processes, apply LEAN tools, and drive PFMEA, CP/CPK, and DOE studies to improve quality, safety, and efficiency.

The role requires hands-on design of tooling with 3D CAD, familiarity with DFM, and collaboration with internal and external teams across regions. This on-site position is based in Valley Green, PA.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline plus 2+ years in process engineering.
• Ability to read, analyze and interpret technical procedures and regulations.
• Ability to write reports and procedure manuals.
• Ability to present information to managers and customers worldwide.

Responsibilities

• Develop assembly processes and tooling to meet cost, delivery and capacity targets.
• Create PFMEA, control plans and DOE studies to improve quality and efficiency.
• Coordinate prototype fabrication with vendors and internal teams.
• Support capacity planning, time studies and line balance activities.
• Provide training and documentation for production staff.
