Job summary

Heidelberg Materials is seeking a Process Control Technician (PCT) in Harleyville, SC. The role involves installing, maintaining, and optimizing process control systems to ensure reliable plant operations. Candidates should have an Associate degree or technical certification in a relevant field along with 2–5 years of experience.

This position offers $34.12 per hour and benefits through the Union, including vacation and sick leave.

Qualifications

• 2–5+ years of experience in process control, instrumentation, or industrial maintenance.
• Experience in manufacturing, chemical, or industrial environments preferred.
• Score of 75 or better on the NCCER Industrial Electrician test is required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and troubleshoot distributed control systems (DCS), PLCs, HMIs, and SCADA systems.
• Respond to plant issues impacting process control systems and instrumentation.
• Ensure all work complies with company policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.

PLC programming (Allen-Bradley, Siemens)

Process instrumentation and control loops

Education
