Job summary

EssilorLuxottica is seeking a Maintenance Technician in the Baltimore area to maintain and repair facility equipment across HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems. You will analyze and track maintenance data, support safety programs, and help train team members to uphold high manufacturing standards.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED with at least one year in a similar setting; associates degree preferred.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED and one year related experience.
Experience in highly automated manufacturing.
Ability to troubleshoot using schematics and meters.
Remote collaboration with vendors, contractors, and suppliers.
Basic PC knowledge and math skills.
Must know and follow safety procedures including Lock-Out/Tag-Out.
Physical ability to lift 50-100 lbs.

Responsibilities

Performs preventative maintenance on facility equipment as outlined in schedule; troubleshoots and repairs maintenance equipment.
Completes general facility maintenance (plumbing, HVAC, electrical, mechanical, or PLC).
Disassembles, cleans, and repairs equipment mechanically and electrically.
Performs minor electronic repair, calibration, and alignment; ensures proper setup.
Enters and analyzes maintenance data.
Tracks maintenance activities in Megamations.
Assists the maintenance team leader in training associates.
Aids process improvements with total quality.
Maintains safety compliance and company policies.
Assumes additional responsibilities as needed.
